Take care of the pesky problem of bandits plaguing main roads into the Sound.
Story:[]
The trio of genin have been assigned to escort a large supply convoy from Kumo to Hoshi Suuhai due to the number of bandits plaguing all major roads into the Sound. Since this current shipment is a big one, the head honchos have all decided to send ninjas along with it to protect it, and hopefully eradicate the bandit threat. Or at least reduce the numbers while allowing a generous portion of supplies to make it where it's needed.
Mission Recap[]
Things were uneventful until they got into the Sound and, on a river crossing, the big haulers in the convoy got flat tires. Saito used his byakugan to scan for abnormalities, so the ambush wasn't a complete surprise, but the haulers were damaged. A battle ensued between the three ninjas and the ambushing bandits. During the battle one of the bandits pulled out a secret surprise that left Osamu in a bad spot dangling off the bridge, though it also took out one of their own bandity allies. The temporarily inability to use chakra hindered Osamu, who was stuck on the side of the bridge for a while, and Saito, who was badly injured, but once the chakra flow was turned back on the ninjas quickly turned the tide and eradicated their enemies. The convoy repaired itself while the ninjas kept watch and things got back on the road, enabling the ninjas to complete their mission.
